Jellyfish and park!

Today I have been to my home education group, I arranged for everybody to make paper cup jellyfish with plastic carrier bag tentacles (see pic below!). My brother and I wrote a story about a jellyfish to read to the other kids!









Here is the story I read to the other kids -

Once upon a time there was a jellyfish named Jubbly, that roamed the giant jellyfish ocean. All the other jellyfish stung except for him.

One day he was out for a swim in a part of the ocean that he had never gone to before.
Squelch.....squelch.....squelch he moved through the warm, quiet water. Soon he got sleepy from all the fun of exploring, so he looked for somewhere to have a rest. He found a big, dark cave and went inside. Soon he settled down.

Suddenly he heard a loud rumbling noise. For a minute he thought it was his hungry tummy. Blumbu......blumbu..... the cave started to shake and MOVE!!!!
Jubbly started to shiver and get scared. Where was he?

Gulp, gulp.........gulp. He was in a big Sharks mouth!!!!

"If only I could sting like all the other jellyfish he wished"

He thought about his pet rainbow fish and his family at home and he started to get cross with the shark. He puffed up his jellish body , tensed his tentacles, and felt electric currents building up inside himself.

Dizzzzzzzzzzzz........

He stung the shark and it spat him out at a tremendous speed!
He swam as fast as could back home in time for tea with his rainbow fish.

Afterwards some of the group went to the park, it was very busy as it is the summer holidays but it was still fun to be there with everyone! Here is a pic of us in the park!
