WATCH Dormouse hunting!!!!!

We went to WATCH wildlife group and set out looking for remnant's of dormice! On the way I spotted some beautiful fungi and views! I LOVE this picture above!!!!!!

Out on our walk........

There were LUSH plants!

And plenty of fascinating fungi! The white candle like ones on this stump are called Candle snuff fungi and when you tap some of them they let off a puff of spores! So beautiful!

It was hard to take clear pictures as it was raining and I didn't want to get my camera wet so some of them are slightly blurred.

This one is like a tornado!!!!!!

I love the colour of this one!

A pixie ring, they use the fungi as drums! :-)

It looks like jelly! lol

The trees :-)

Down by the canal
Things a dormouse might like to eat!

Examples of nibbled things the warden brought in to show us. The large nut shell was gnawed by a dormouse.

Our finds. We had no luck in finding any dormouse sightings but we think we found wood mouse nibbles on some hazelnuts!
