The European Day of Languages (26th September) is:
A Europe-wide celebration of all the world’s languages
A day to kick-start language learning
A chance to raise awareness about the value of language skills
To alert the public to the importance of language learning
To increase awareness and appreciation of all languages
To encourage lifelong language learning

We decided that for the European Day of Languages we would make flags from different countries. We used willow sticks from my garden and sheets of A4 card or paper and then we coloured or stuck stuff onto them! We also had fun learning how to say 'Hello' in different languages!

I like the Chinese one! Nee-HaOW! lol!

The work table!
